Three principal views to describe the overall architecture
ARIS Defense Solution contains three views, the Operational View (OV), Systems View (SV), and Technical Standards View (TV), which combine in logical fashion to describe the entire enterprise architecture. Each of these views comprises specific architecture products, which in turn model particular objects, such as, organization, function, application, or information.

ARIS employs an object-oriented approach to allow each architecture element to be reused across all views and products of the DoDAF architecture.
