ARIS Business Performance Edition brings together all the new and enhanced ARIS products due for release by IDS Scheer in the current year. All functionalities and products are designed to achieve the same objective—better business performance.

ARIS - Boosting Business Process Performance

Market changes have a direct impact on a company’s business and thus on its processes. By regularly examining leading indicators, such as incoming orders, process costs, and returns, organizations can respond quickly to any deterioration in business performance. Combining KPIs with operational processes allows employees to take appropriate countermeasures at an early stage. Ultimately, this improves and maintains company performance across all business processes.
ARIS Business Performance Edition provides comprehensive new functionalities that enhance business process performance.

ARIS Business Architect now supports version control for process models, enabling greater team efficiency—particularly where distributed modeling of processes takes place. A time-based modeling capability also adds project management functionalities to ARIS.

Users can visualize the processes that are actually executed, analyze and optimize them. In the event of errors or exceptions, the new ARIS Process Event Monitor enables immediate remedial action to be taken. Errors can be corrected in real time, ensuring a consistently high level of process quality.

ARIS Performance Dashboard provides a consolidated, target group-oriented view of all performance-relevant process information from ARIS products and external sources.

ARIS – Improving Business through IT

Only by examining complete, end-to-end business processes can high-impact process improvements be implemented. This holistic view of processes and the associated IT environment allows IT systems to be analyzed and consolidated, so that potential savings can be realized. User departments benefit from more flexible, faster workflows, while IT staff can leverage the full potential of the available technology. The main beneficiary, however, is the company balance sheet.

ARIS Business Performance Edition streamlines the interaction of processes and IT by way of new products and functionalities.

As one of these new products, ARIS IT Inventory provides users with a Web browser front-end for maintaining technology data. ARIS therefore delivers a complete IT planning environment based on the central ARIS repository.

The extended methodology support and new functionalities in ARIS SOA Architect enable service architectures to be comprehensively described, planned, and managed. Six Sigma and BPMN are now available, as is the OASIS SOA Reference Model.

The integration of business rules in the new ARIS Business Rules Designer enables companies to increase BPM efficiency by 20 percent and greatly accelerate process implementation in IT systems.

ARIS – Ensuring Business Compliance

The aim of business process governance is to ensure that business processes are subject to the proper constraints and that all risks are taken into account, which might jeopardize the company’s performance. The governance regime will typically comprise a combination of internal management requirements and those defined by external regulatory/legislatory bodies.

Here again, ARIS Business Performance Edition offers powerful new functionalities.

The new ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager helps businesses to demonstrate compliance with legal requirements and manage their risks. Of particular importance here is the existence and correct functioning of the internal control system. The product contains new modules for issue management and operational risk management. As an alternative to the previous risk-based approach, a control-based procedure is now also possible. A control-based approach allows significant efficiency improvements by making the system easier to manage and reducing the number of controls across the company.
