- On May 18, SAP hosted the festive Pinnacle Awards 2008 Ceremony in Berlin on the eve of SAPPHIRE® 2008 Berlin, SAP’s international customer conference held May 19 – 21.
- In the event Dirk Oevermann (Member of the Executive Board IDS Scheer AG) received the SAP® Pinnacle Award in the area "Global Ecosystem – Customer Satisfaction" from the hands of Zia Yusuf (executive vice president, Global Ecosystem and Partner Group, SAP) – winning ahead of the big players such as Capgemini, Deloitte, IBM or Accenture.
