Terms & Conditions

Registration and confirmation
Registration must be in writing by mail, fax, e-mail or online. Registrations received by IDS Scheer are processed in the order in which they are received. When an order is received, a written confirmation is promptly issued. The order only then becomes binding.

Hotel and travel information
You will receive our list of recommended hotels and a map to the training location with your confirmation. You are responsible for making your own reservations. The course fee does not include travel and accomodation costs.

Cancellation
IDS Scheer reserves the right to change or cancel course dates. If IDS Scheer cancels a course, customers will be informed of this in writing at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled start of the course.

Course times
Course days begin regularly at 9.00 a.m. and end at around 5.00 p.m.

Withdrawal or rescheduling
Customers can cancel or reschedule a training course up to no later than 14 calendar days before the contractually agreed course date with no penalty. If the course is canceled within the 14 calendar days before the start of the course, the complete course fee is payable. However, customers then have the option to participate in the course within a period specified by IDS Scheer without another invoice being issued.

Training material
All participants receive documentation for their particular course at the start of one of our public training sessions. The course documentation in printed and digital form as well as software provided must not be copied or otherwise reproduced.

Compensation
If the training course is canceled due to illness of a trainer, act of God or other circumstances or events beyond the control of the organizer, customers have no claim to assert regarding the performance of the event. In such cases, the organizer cannot be obliged to reimburse travel or accomodation costs, or other consequent losses. The organizer is generally only liable for the cancellation of a course if caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

Course content and prerequisites
The course content described in the catalog will be addressed, as long as this is possible in view of the participant's state of knowledge. To meet the high quality standards we demand of the courses and achieve optimal acceptance of new knowledge among participants, our trainers can adapt the course content to suit the needs of the group in individual cases. Participants are asked to familiarize themselves with the training course prerequisites before registration to ensure the most uniform state of knowledge.

Fees
The published course fees do not include the legally applicable value-added tax. The listed prices are per participant and include training material, lunch and refreshments.

Safeguarding clause
If individual stipulations of this contract should be or become inoperative or invalid in full or part, or the contract contains gaps, this does not effect the operability of the remainder of the contract. Instead of any inoperative or invalid stipulation, an operative stipulation that corresponds to the sense and purpose of the inoperative or invalid stipulation is considered to apply. In the case of gaps, a stipulation is considered to apply that corresponds to what would probably have been agreed according to the sense and purpose of this contract if the partners had contemplated the eventuality in advance.
